Drug suspect slain in Laguna
SAN PEDRO CITY – A man allegedly involved in the illegal drugs trade was killed by the police in San Pablo City in Laguna province, police said Saturday.
The suspect, Celso Tuyogan, alias “Jayson,” was supposed to be the target of a buy-bust operation around 9 p.m. Thursday in Barangay (village) San Gregorio, a report from the regional police said.
The police were tailing Tuyogan who was on his motorcycle when the suspect suddenly sped up and opened fire. The authorities supposed he realized the police were after him.

The police said they were forced to shoot back and kill the suspect.
They recovered a .45 caliber gun and an unmarked motorcycle from Tuyogan. MARICAR CINCO
