Woman collapses at Manila South Cemetery
A 21-year-old woman collapsed on Thursday at the Manila South Cemetery and was sent to a hospital in Makati due to hypotension or low blood pressure, authorities said.
Leonard Randrup, chapter adviser at the Public Assistance for Rescue, Disaster and Support Services Foundation Inc., said that Pauline Anne Garcia’s blood pressure was only 50/40 at the time of the incident.
Randrup said Garcia may be in critical condition so she was sent to the emergency department of the Makati Medical Center at around 2 p.m.
Randrup added that Garcia had shingles for two weeks that could have worsened her condition.
Shingles is a viral infection that could cause rashes around the body. /ee
