According to Andanar, another batch of 1, 000 bread and bottled water will also be distributed to visitors of the cemetery on Friday, All Souls’ Day.

“Meron po kaming mga hinandang mga tinapay. Meron ding mga good Samaritans na nagbigay para ipamahagi natin sa mga kababayan nating mga Pilipino na walang-wala talaga,” he told reporters.

(We have prepared bread. There were also good Samaritans who donated for distribution to our fellowmen who really have nothing.)

Aside from bread and bottled water, Andanar said coffee and fans were also for distribution to visitors of the Manila North Cemetery.  /kga
