Senator Risa Hontiveros quietly paid her respects to departed relatives in the Loyola Memorial Park on Thursday, All Saints’ Day.
Hontiveros asked for privacy and begged off interviews, but a Senate staff told INQUIRER.net that her father, Ramon Hontiveros, and some other members of the Hontiveros clan are buried at the said cemetery in Marikina City.
Aside from her father, the senator has another deceased family member to visit in the person of his husband Francisco Baraquel Jr., who was part of the Philippine Military Academy’s famed 1986 Sinagtala class. /je
