LOOK: Thousands flock to Manila South Cemetery for ‘Undas’
Thousands of visitors flocked to the Manila South Cemetery in Makati on Thursday to remember the departed for “Undas.”
As of 7 a.m., the Manila Police District recorded a total of 2,857 cemetery visitors.
Police said they expect some 24,000 visitors to the cemetery on Thursday, All Saints Day, the first day of “Undas.”
Meanwhile, the Manila Police has maintained a strict inspection of items being brought into the Manila South Cemetery by visitors.
Prohibited items inside the cemetery are bladed weapons, flammable materials, liquor, firearms, illegal drugs, gambling materials and gardening tools, among others. /muf
