Road potholes patching work set

The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region will conduct potholes patching and other minor infrastructure repair work in four Metro Manila cities in the country over the weekend and on Monday.

DPWH, in a statement, said it hoped “to minimize traffic congestion brought about by the undisciplined and selfish motorists, increasing number of motor vehicles, coupled with the wear and tear of pavement due to road potholes and cracks through maintenance activity.”

In Pasay City, the potholes patching will be done along MIA Road and Domestic Road, particularly at the Tambo Bridge, as well as along MIA Road corner Andrew Avenue.

In Quezon City, similar potholes patching activity will also be undertaken at Regalado South covering Regalado Avenue and Fairview Avenue.

Portions of Edsa will also undergo crack and joint sealing work, the DPWH said.

There will also be similar work along a section of Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City; along the northbound lane of Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City; and along Gov. A. Pascual Avenue in Malabon City.
