Manila Police District (MPD) will deploy more or less 800 personnel around Metro Manila to ensure public safety during the observance of the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day celebration.

In a statement issued on Monday, MPD Director Chief Supt. Rolando Anduyan said it had deployed more or less 300 police personnel and five hundred 500 force multipliers to assist police officers until Saturday (November 3) in securing four cemeteries in Metro Manila — the Manila North Cemetery, Manila South Cemetery, La Loma Cemetery and Chinese Cemetery.

Anduyan also noted that they have organized and activated Oplan “Kaluluwa” to secure different areas of interest such as cemeteries, bus terminals, airports and seaports, churches and places of worship, tourist destinations, vital installations, and places of convergence.
