An ax-wielding man damaged machines and stole cash from a laundromat in the Adelaide town of Angle Vale in Australia, on the morning on Sunday, Oct. 28.
Ezy Wash and Dry Laundromat uploaded the CCTV footage of the crime on its official Facebook page on the same day.
“Unfortunately at [6:50 a.m.] this morning, an ax-wielding, low life, scum of the earth thief destroyed the change machine in our Angle Vale laundromat and has helped himself to all of the cash inside,” the page stated.
In a separate post yesterday, Oct. 28, the page uploaded a screengrab of the footage showing the suspect about to ride his runaway vehicle.
The suspect took more than $3,000 (around P161,000), as per the 9News report yesterday. The laundromat’s owner, Melissa Crisa, told media that the robbery was a first for the family-run business. KM
