Zamboanga City fire hurts 2 persons

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two persons suffered first degree burns when a fire broke out in a junk-shop shortly at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 28.

Felizardo Isidro and Jeffrey Siason suffered first degree burns in different parts of their bodies from the fire that started at the junk shop in Purok 6, Barangay Sangali here, said Superintendent Jhufel M. Brañanola, the district fire marshal of the Zamboanga City Fire Department.

The fire razed two business establishments, damaging some P300,000 worth of properties, Brañanola said.

“The cause (of the fire) was possibly due to short circuit that came from the circuit breaker,” Brañanola said.
