A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Monday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its earthquake bulletin, the agency reported that the tremblor hit 67 kilometers southeast of Tarragona, Davao Oriental, at 2:42 p.m.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 154 kilometers.
No aftershocks or damage could be expected from the tremblor, said Phivolcs.
