DPWH to conduct repair, reblocking of roads on weekend

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblockings and repairs starting 11 p.m. Friday (Oct. 26) until 5 a.m. on Monday (Oct. 29).

In an advisory posted on Friday on the DPWH’s official Facebook page, the department advised motorists to take alternative routes instead and avoid the affected areas, which include:

1.) EDSA southbound after Scout Borromeo St. near GMA-7 station beside MRT station

2.) EDSA northbound beside Trinoma Mall (6th lane from the center island)

3.) Batasan Road, Sinagtala St. to Batasan – San Mateo Road (4th lane)

4.) General Luis St. westbound near Mendoza Drive and between Ambrocia St. and Reynaldo St. (1st land from the center island)

5.) C-5 Road southbound fronting SM Aura

6.) C-5 Road southboud after Lanuza ave.

7.) A.H. Lacson Ave. corner Aragon St. and P. Florentino St. and G. Tuazon St. corner Masbate St.

8.) Commonwealth Ave. near pedestrian footbridge and near Jocfer Building and along Comm. near N. Zuzuaregui St.

9.) Roosevelt Ave. northbound from Manga St. to KM Post No. 10 (1st lane from sidewalk)

10.) Visayas Ave. northbound Visayas Ave. Road 1 intersection (1st to half of 2nd lane from sidewalk)

11.) C-5 Road southbound in front of Solace

DPWH said all affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday (Oct. 29). /jpv
