2 alleged drug pushers nabbed in Olongapo City

OLONGAPO CITY – Two alleged drug pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here on Monday night (Oct. 22)
Police said Emerson Asurio, who is included in the city’s drug watch list, was arrested after he allegedly sold shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer during a buy-bust in Barangay (village) Old Cabalan.
Seized from Asurio were five more sachets suspected to contain shabu and the marked money used in the sting.

Meanwhile, in Barangay West Bajac Bajac , Joel Ong, 36, a resident of Subic, Zambales was arrested at 6:30 p.m. after he was caught selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer.
Recovered from Ong were three more sachets of suspected shabu and the marked money used in the bust.


Police said the two arrested suspects are now facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /muf
