BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — A two-year-old boy drowned in a river in Quezon town on Monday (Oct. 22) as his family was having a picnic on the riverbank.
Police Chief Inspector Larry Pinkihan, Quezon police chief said Alvin Guillermo and his parents traveled from Tarlac City to clean the family cemetery plot before this year’s observance of All Saints Day.
According to police, after the family finished cleaning, they proceeded to the riverbank to have a picnic.
Police said the family did not notice that Alvin had wandered into the water and drowned. /muf
