Two killed in Abra town

BAGUIO CITY – Two motorcycle riders were shot dead Monday morning in Dolores, Abra.

Police identified one of the victims as Rodel Talledo Pilor, 34, married. The other rider remains unidentified, as of this posting.


Police said this incident happened 9:15 a.m. in Barangay (village) Kimmalaba.

Reports said the two were volunteers of Abra Gov. Maria Jocelyn Bernos, who will face Dolores Mayor Robert “JR” Seares in the gubernatorial race next year.


Shells fired from a caliber 56mm gun as well as a 12-gauge shotgun were collected from the crime scene, according to police. /kga
