Bus driver, conductor nabbed for drugs in Pasay

A bus driver and his conductor were arrested for holding a pot session inside a passenger bus while two of their companions escaped past midnight on Sunday.

The Southern Police District identified the two individuals apprehended as Carno Donio, 36; and Louie Ellamil, 29.

Their companions, Michael Ilagan and Darry Arroz,  escaped the police authorities. All four were employees of Ceres Bus Inc. company.

Police investigation showed that the security guards at the Victory Liner Terminal in Pasay City saw the four men inside the Ceres Bus during a routine inspection.

Upon seeing Arroz on board the vehicle, security guards called Arroz’ supervisor since he has been under police surveillance for allegedly using illegal drugs. Authorities then entered the bus together with Arroz’ supervisor and arrested the four men.

Recovered inside the vehicle were three pieces of aluminum foil and one lighter.

Both Donio and Ellamil were turned over to Station Drug Enforcement of Pasay City precinct for documentation while Arroz and Ilagan managed to escape.
