LUCENA CITY–Three suspected drug pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Sariaya town in Quezon province on Friday, police said Saturday.
Senior Supt. Osmundo de Guzman, Quezon police chief, said the operations seized a total of 3.83 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P19,150 in the street market.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives busted Ronalyn de Silva, 30, after she allegedly sold shabu to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay (village) Lutucan 1 around 8:40 p.m.
Earlier, the local drugs enforcement unit also busted Arnaldo de Leon in the same village and Aldrin Delfino in Barangay Gibanga.
Police said the three suspects were identified by former drug users who surrendered to the government as peddlers of shabu in their respective villages. /jpv
