WATCH: Drone footage shows Hurricane Michael devastation in Mexico Beach, Florida

Emergency response crews continued to search for survivors in Florida, United States on Oct. 15, as the death toll from Hurricane Michael rose to 18.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office shared drone footage via Twitter of destroyed homes in the Mexico Beach area on Monday.

Michael made landfall Wednesday as a Category 4 hurricane with 155 miles per hour winds (249 kilometers per hour) and heavy storm surge, Associated Press reported on Oct. 14. JB
