The Senate has a new main attraction called “The Gallery of Legacy.”
On Tuesday, Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III led the unveiling ceremony of the gallery at the second floor of the Senate.
The event was also attended by Senators Gringo Honasan, JV Ejercito and Nancy Binay.
“I am pleased to share with you the new main attraction inside the Senate,” Sotto said in his short speech during the ceremony.
He said “The Gallery of Legacy” aims to showcase the legacy of each elected senator of the 17th Congress.
“These are challenging times, it’s important to remember what public service is all about. It is encouraging to know that what we do as an institution has a huge effect on our people and our nation ,” Sotto said.
“Let us remain steadfast and hopeful. We need to continue to work hard and be a part of true change,” the Senate leader added. /muf
