Charee Pineda files COC, seeks reelection as Valenzuela City councilor

Filipino-American actress Charee Pineda filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) as reelectionist Valenzuela City councilor before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday, Oct. 15.

She shared in an Instagram post that it’s her third time to vie for the post with caption: “On to my 3rd! Bless me Lord!”

Pineda first assumed office as member of the Valenzuela City council in 2013. In 2016, she ran for re-election and won.

The actress played the female protagonist in ABS-CBN’s “Angelito: Batang Ama” and “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto.” She was also part of GMA’s “The Rich Man’s Daughter” and 2018 drama series “Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka.”  /muf
