More senatorial hopefuls and party-list groups are expected to arrive at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) main office in Manila on Tuesday for the fourth day of the filing of certificates of candidacy (COC).
Since the start of the COC filing, the Comelec said a total of 63 individuals have filed their COCs for senators for the May 2019 midterm elections.
Meanwhile, 70 party-list groups filed their certificates of nominations and acceptance.
Among those expected to file their COCs for senator this Tuesday are Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, Taguig Rep. Pia Cayetano, and reelectionist Senator Bam Aquino. /cbb
