Mocha arrives at Comelec to file COC under Kasosyo Partylist
Mocha Uson arrived at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) headquarters in Intramuros, Manila on Monday to file her certificate of candidacy.
She will run under the Kasosyo Partylist carrying her advocacy of helping overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
Uson earlier announced that she will run for the May 2019 midterm elections to give “ordinary citizens” a voice.
Early October, she resigned from her position as PCOO assistant secretary.
She claimed that some lawmakers were constantly delaying the PCOO budget deliberations because of her. Legislators have been demanding for her presence during budget deliberations.
However, Uson had failed to show up a number of times as she was usually on official business abroad. She said she resigned to allow things to move on. /je
