3rd day of COC filing opens

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) opened on Monday the third day of the filing of certificates of candidacies (COC) for the May 2019 midterm elections.

As early as 7 a.m., supporters of political aspirants gathered in front of Comelec headquarters in Intramuros, Manila.

Candidates expected to file their COCs are reelectionist Senators Cynthia Villar and JV Ejercito, Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano, and Maguindanao second district representative Zajid “Dong” Mangudadatu./cbb
