Villar early at Comelec for COC filing

Reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar arrived early Monday to file her certificate of candidacy at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) headquarters at the Palacio del Gobernador in Intramuros, Manila.
Villar will be running under the banner of Nacionalista Party for the May 2019 midterm elections.

Villar is currently the chair of three committees in the Senate — agrarian reform, agriculture and food, and environment and natural resources. /cbb
