Bam grateful to supporters for inclusion in SWS top 12 senators

Senator Bam Aquino expressed his admiration for the winners and finalists of the 13th TAYO Awards. The winners and finalists, Aquino said, should serve as inspiration for other Filipino youth.

Reelectionist Senator Bam Aquino thanked his supporters and vowed to work harder after making it to the top 12 in the latest senatorial survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

The survey, which was commissioned by the Lakas–CMD (Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats), showed that Aquino is tied for 10th to 12th spots with 22 percent.

“Lubos ang pasasalamat natin sa mga patuloy na sumusuporta sa atin. Asahan niyong lubos din ang aking pagtrabaho para tulungan kayo [I am truly grateful to those who continue to support me. Rest assured that I will domore to help you],” Aquino said in a statement.

The survey was commissioned by the Lakas–CMD, which was released to INQUIRER.net by the party’s Secretary General Alde Pagulayan.

SWS supposedly used face-to-face interviews of 1,500 adults nationwide.

The Liberal Party announced that Aquino is one of its senatorial candidates in the 2019 polls. He is yet to file his certificate of candidacy at the Commission on Election headquarters in Intramuros, Manila. /jpv
