DID YOU KNOW: 5,354 jeepneys involved in road crashes from January to August 2018

According to the latest data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, 5,354 public utility jeepneys were involved in road crashes in the National Capital Region from January to August this year. Of the total, 16 incidents resulted in deaths, 967 caused nonfatal injuries, while 4,371 resulted in damage to property. —Marielle Medina
