LOOK: Supporters of Freddie Aguilar gather in front of Comelec Office

Supporters of Freddie Aguilar, who plans to run for senator, gathered in front of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office on the first day of the filing of certificates of candidacy (COCs) on Thursday.

Members of the Samahan ng mga Mamamayan (SMAKKK), Muslim Brotherhood of the Philippines and TV Crew Riders Organization came to show their support for Aguilar.

Starting this Thursday, Comelec offices will be open from  8 a.m. until 5 p.m. to  accept the COC of candidates who will run for the 2019 elections.

The filing of COCs across the country will run until Wednesday, October 17.  /muf
