Massage expert wanted for sexual assault in Tarlac nabbed in Rizal

MAYANTOC, Tarlac— A massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting three Mayantoc children in 2015 was arrested on Wednesday morning in Rizal town in Cainta where he is employed as a wellness spa supervisor.

Christian Nicdao, 39, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. in Barangay Sto. Nino by the Mayantoc and Cainta police for three counts of rape. He was brought back here and detained at the town’s police station.

“He was known here for his skills in traditional massage but he sexually fondled the children he was treating at his rented home in Poblacion Sur. Then he scared them into keeping it a secret. He warned them they would become possessed by evil spirits,” said Senior Insp. Ruperto Calosa, Mayantoc chief of police.

Nicdao was invited for questioning when the complaints first emerged, but he fled to Saudi Arabia.

He returned and moved to Cainta but was tracked down because he was visible in social media.

The police served Nicdao a search warrant issued on Aug. 11 by Regional Trial Court Judge Jose Vallo of Branch 68 in Camiling, Tarlac. /ee
