DID YOU KNOW: 129 Sari cases noted in Metro Manila

Metro Manila accounted for 129 severe acute respiratory infection (Sari) cases out of the 647 cases reported nationwide from January to June this year according to the Department of Health (DOH).

The region that recorded the highest number of cases during the period was Davao Region with 170 cases, followed by Central Visayas with 166 cases.

Latest DOH data also showed that there have been 18 deaths due to Sari nationwide. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
