Catholics braved the heat on Tuesday to venerate the heart relic of St. Padre Pio at the Manila Cathedral.
In the videos, devotees can be seen taking cover under their umbrellas as they wait for their turn to enter the iconic church.

The long line of devotees wanting to see the relic has already made its way around Plaza Roma where some of the devotees have also sought shelter from the heat.
According to the Manila Police District, around 5,000 devotees were present in the grounds of the Manila Cathedral as of noon.

Devotees can venerate the incorrupt heart of St. Padre Pio at the Manila Cathedral until Thursday, October 11, when it will be brought to Cebu.
The Manila Cathedral will be open round-the-clock to accommodate devotees who want to venerate the relic.
