Watch out for thunderstorms – Pagasa
A low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine area of responsibility is expected to dissolve in less than two days, the weather bureau said Tuesday.
The LPA spotted 970 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, at 3 a.m., will dissipate within the next 24 to 36 hours, weather specialist Ariel Rojas of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The weather disturbance is not directly affecting the country.
Pagasa forecasts fair weather in Metro Manila and the rest of the country but warned against localized thunderstorms that might cause flashfloods and landslides. /cbb
