Belgian found hanging in Sagada house

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – A Belgian national was found dead on Sunday in a house that offers homestay services at Sagada town in Mountain Province.

Rouben Marc was found hanging from a nylon rope by the stairs by house caretaker Keithley Robles at 7:30 a.m., police said.

Neighbors said they have not seen Marc for two days but have also noticed that the door leading to the veranda of the foreigner’s room was ajar.

A resident, Lam-oy Busaing, called the attention of the caretaker who discovered his client dead.

The police were still investigating if foul play was involved.
