LUCENA CITY – A motorcycle rider died and another one injured in a road accident in Agdangan town in Quezon province on Friday, police said.
A report from the Quezon police office said John Aron Moreno, who was driving the motorcycle and his back rider John Paul Peñarodondo, slid and was thrown off their vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve in the Bondoc Peninsula highway,
Police said the victim’s motorcycle was running fast when the accident happened in Barangay Poblacion 1 at 3:52 p.m.
The victims were taken to Unisan Community Medicare hospital in nearby Unisan town but Peñarondo, who suffered a serious head injury, died along the way. DELFIN T. MALLARI JR.
