No guidelines yet for Rizal Park lensmen
NATIONAL Parks Development Committee (NPDC) executive director Juliet Villegas clarified on Wednesday that discussions were still ongoing with professional photographers over photoshoot guidelines at Rizal Park. Reports earlier said stated that Bawal Mag-Shoot Dito (BMSD) had announced that the NPDC agreed to a month-long “open shoot” or “open location” trial period for commercial photographers. Villegas said the NPDC made no such announcement of an open shoot or open location trial period, after they met with the photographers recently. She said what they had agreed on was that Dec. 15 to Jan. 15 would be the time frame in which a technical working group would be formed and photo shoot guidelines at the national sites would be drafted. Villegas said commercial photographers were still subject to Rizal Park’s fees and permits until the guidelines are implemented. 4 hurt in Marikina videoke bar attack
FOUR people were critically wounded after a man wearing helmets sprayed bullets inside a KTV bar in Marikina City on Wednesday before midnight. The shooting incident happened at Jae Cris Videoke Bar on Molave Street in Barangay Concepcion Uno, at 11:15 p.m., said PO1 Gaby Capinpin of the Eastern Police District’s public information office. The bar owner Cecilla Pascual, 47, and her employees Agnes Pagkalinawan, 45, and John Ray Agustin, 21; and a customer, Arnel Lumaad, 24, were brought to St. Vincent Hospital in Marikina after sustaining several gunshot wounds in different parts of the body.
