Authorities seized a kilo of marijuana worth P120,000 from a 20-year-old man in Quezon City late Wednesday night.
Reports from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Thursday show that the marijuana was confiscated from Kenneth Sapilan, who was arrested in a buy-bust operation near the Quezon City Memorial Circle at about 10 p.m.
Police said he was not on the QCPD’s drugs watch list.
Also seized from Sapilan were a large roll of aluminum foil, a sachet containing marijuana, a red plastic bag, cellphone, and P1,000 cash.
The suspect was taken to the Cubao Police Station and drug charges are being prepared against him. /cbb
