P3.4M shabu seized by PDEA in Manila bust

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized some P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust along T.M. Kalaw Avenue in Manila on Wednesday.

Police also nabbed during the bust alleged drug pusher Junior Manipbel, 19, who was supposed to deliver the shabu to an undercover PDEA agent.

Seized from Manipbel was a large plastic bag containing the suspected shabu estimated to weigh about 500 grams, according to a PDEA report.

Criminal charges are now being prepared against the suspect, PDEA said.  /muf
