Presidential Communication Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson’s resignation is “not a loss” to the government because she is not ready for public service, legal adviser of Vice President Leni Robredo said Wednesday.
“Madaming beses nang ipinakita ni Mocha Uson na hindi talaga niya naiintindihan at hindi siya handa para gampanan ang tungkulin ng isang lingkod ng bayan. Kaya hindi kawalan sa bayan ang kanyang pagbibitaw,” Barry Gutierrez, who is also a law professor, said in a statement via Radyo Inquirer.
(Mocha Uson has proven so many times that she cannot understand and she is not ready for the duties in serving the country. Her resignation is not a loss to our country.)

Gutierrez also reminded Uson that she will still be liable for her lies and scandals despite her resignation.
“Huwag lang siyang magkamaling isipin na dahil nagresign na siya, hindi na siya mananagot para sa lahat ng kasinungalingan at paninirang pinasabog niya,” he added.
(She must not make a mistake in thinking that because she has resigned, she will no longer be liable for all her lies and scandals that she had done.)
Uson announced her resignation on Wednesday morning during the Senate hearing on the proposed budget of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) for 2019. /je
