TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol- A container van ran into electric lines along Benigno Aquino Avenue in Barangay Booy in this city before noon on Saturday causing power interruption in the area.

The truck, owned by Lite Shipping Company, dragged the primary line hanging above the road, causing two electric posts holding it to tilt.

Ester Galon, who lives in the area, immediately informed the Tagbilaran City Police. She also asked Bohol Light Company to deploy personnel to fix the damage.

As of this posting, power had not been restored as Bohol Light personnel were still assessing the damage. The electric posts had cracks.

It was not yet known when electricity would be restored.
