MANILA, Philippines — President Benigno Aquino III announced Thursday a P10,000 additional holiday bonus for 1.67 million government employees.
Aquino told reporters that the productivity enhancement bonus “is due to be given by December 15.”
Budget Secretary Florencio B. Abad said that the additional bonus would be on top of the second half of the regular 13th month pay plus a cash gift of P5,000 which are paid to employees starting November 15 up to 30. The first half of the 13th month pay is given May and June.
