2 alleged pushers, 5 drug users nabbed in QC

Seven drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Old Balara, Quezon City, on Thursday night.

Reports from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said undercover police officers tried to buy shabu worth P500 from suspects John Miko Gagno, 18 and Flomar Beron, 40 at a house in Pook de la Paz, Barangay Old Balara.

Police also arrested suspects Freddie Magno, 35; Anecito Mendoza, 57; Alejandro Aldave, 38; Larry Doroy, 50; and Bernard Diñahan, 40, while allegedly in the act of using shabu.

Seized from the suspects were the marked money used in the bust, three sachets of shabu, several drug paraphernalia, and a digital weighing scale.

According to information from QCPD’s District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU), Beron and Magno were also involved in robbery.

The arrested suspects who are now under the DDEU’s custody, will be facing charges for violating R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.  /muf
