DID YOU KNOW: Metro Manila accounts for 13% of dengue cases

Metro Manila accounted for 13 percent or 9,263 dengue cases out of 69,088 cases reported nationwide from Jan. 1 to July 28, according to the Department of Health. The region recorded the second highest number of cases during the period, next to Central Luzon with 16 percent or 10,804 cases. Latest DOH data also showed 46 deaths due to dengue in Metro Manila from Jan. 1 to July 28. —Marielle Medina
