Sen. Francis Pangilinan has mocked the “Red October” plot which is supposedly a plot hatched by the Liberal Party (LP) and the communists to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.

Pangilinan said in a tweet on Thursday.

(The ouster plot against the Duterte administration by the communists and the LP is called Red October based on intelligence reports. If you have an evil plan, will you announce the time when your evil plan will happen?)

(Will you give the plot a Red color to make it known that you are the mastermind behind the evil plan?”)

FEATURED STORIES

Pangilinan said intelligence funds by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Malacañang might have been used to mislead people on the alleged ouster plot.

Kalokohan!” he said.

(Is this where the billions of intelligence funds of Malacañang and the AFP are going? They are just deceiving the people with their made-up stories? How foolish!)

Pangilinan also advised government to offer solutions to boost employment and higher salaries and address the spiraling prices of goods.

(Instead, show concrete steps to create more jobs, salary increase and resolve immediately the non-stop price increase of goods!)” he said.

On Sept. 11, in a televised conversation with Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, Duterte said he has evidence to prove that  his political opponents, the communists and Magdalo members are planning to oust him.  /muf
