DID YOU KNOW: DOH records 69,088 dengue cases this year

According to the latest Department of Health data, a total of 69,088 dengue cases were reported nationwide from Jan. 1 to July 28.

This was 5 percent higher than the 65,879 cases recorded during the same period last year.

There have been 366 deaths due to dengue nationwide, according to latest statistics. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
