Police personnel deployed at the Luneta Park in Roxas Boulevard, Manila for rallies on Friday stand their ground as people from both pro and anti-administration camps flock the area.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Guillermo Eleazar and Manila Police District (MPD) Director Chief Supt. Roland Anduyan inspected the formations of police, most of which come from the Manila Police District.

According to Eleazar, the 4,000 strong contingents was needed to ensure that no problems would ensue with two different rallies.  The pro-Duterte faction will use the Quirino Grandstand and the anti-Duterte will use the stretch of Roxas Boulevard from P. Burgos to T.M. Kalaw.

Some of the police officers were plucked from the four other districts in Metro Manila, such as the Northern Police District, Eastern Police District, Quezon City Police District, and Southern Police District.
