MAN STABS BROD
A 28-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed and wounded by his younger brother following an argument inside their house in barangay Canjualo, Lapu-Lapu City, at dawn yesterday.

Jeffrey Premacio was stabbed with an ice pick in the back. The suspect, Omar Premacio, fled after the incident.

Police said Jeffrey arrived home drunk. For a still-unknown reason, the two brothers argued that ended in the stabbing of Jeffrey.

Omar left the house after the incident.

Jeffrey was rushed by his mother to the to Lapu-Lapu City Hospital. He was later transferred to a hospital in Cebu City.

PARLOR WORKERS ROBBED

TWO armed men robbed three workers of a beauty parlor in barangay Basak, Mandaue City, last Tuesday afternoon.

Workers Roel Seronio, 23; Ares Jariol, 26; and Jocelyn Goya, 32, reported the robbery to the Basak police precinct. They said the two robbers pretended to be customers.

The workers said the two men arrived at the parlor around 3 p.m. and had their hair cut.

The workers said they were surprised when instead of paying after having their hair cut, the two men pointed guns at them and declared a holdup.

Ttaken from them were a laptop, a cellular phone and a silver necklace, the workers said.

The robbers  fled to an unknown direction.  Police are still investigating the incident. /REPORTER JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS

SALESMAN LOSES P30T IN  ROBBERY

A 28-YEAR-OLD salesman reported to the police that he was robbed by two men in barangay Mantalungon, Barili town, southern Cebu.

Miguel Albeos, a salesman of Gamma Foods Inc., said he lost P30,000 in collection money in the robbery.

Albeos; truck driver Gerry Ceregoyles, 38; and truck helper Eric Samontera, 21, delivered soft drinks to a store last Tuesday afternoon.

Two men on a motorcycle arrived at the store. One of the men, who was wearing a full-faced helmet, posed as a customer.

The man then drew a gun and held up Albeos.

The robbers fled toward Aloguinsan.
