Jobless man killed in Ecija drug bust

SAN JOSE CITY – A jobless resident of this Nueva Ecija city was killed in an alleged encounter with policemen during a Tuesday afternoon drug operation in Barangay Palestina here.

Marlon Solomon allegedly drew a cal. 38 revolver and fired at undercover police agents to whom he allegedly sold a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) for P1,000, said Supt. Marco Dadez, city police chief.
