Alleged pusher, 4 drug users nabbed in Caloocan City bust

A buy-bust operation by the Caloocan City police led to the arrest of an alleged drug pusher and four suspected drug users in a house at Barangay 120, Caloocan City on Tuesday night.

Reports from the Northern Police District (NPD) said alleged drug pusher Steve Ramirez, 18, was the target of the operation.

Ramirez was caught inside his house at Maria Clara Street, 2nd Avenue in Barangay 120 along with suspected drug users Maciste Dulap, 34; Mark Antonie Paulino, 28; Genesis Paulino, 18; and Jonel Borinaga, 24, all residents of Caloocan City.

Ramirez allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer for P300.00.

Police recovered three other sachets of shabu, two rolled aluminum foils used as tooter, two other folded foils, and two pieces of lighter from the suspected drug users.

Ramirez, the other arrested suspects and the seized evidence were all brought to the Caloocan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit.  The arrested suspects will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.  /muf
