Suspected drug pusher killed in Camarines Sur buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics police gunned down a suspected illegal drug peddler in Pili town, Camarines Sur on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Chief Insp. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said Deolito Lastrollo was selling a sachet of suspected “shabu,” or crystal meth, to an undercover police officer at his house in Barangay Binanuaanan Norte at around 3:15 p.m.

Sensing that he was transacting with a law enforcer, Lastrollo got his .38-caliber revolver and fired at the officers, who werev then forced to shoot back.

Lastrollo was hit severak tunes and taken to the Bicol Medical Center (BMC) in Naga City, where he declared dead on arrival by attending physicians. /atm
