Three drug dens in different parts of Davao del Norte were shuttered following a series of buy-bust operations by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office-XI.
In a report on Tuesday, PDEA said two drug dens located in Barangay Madaum of Tagum City and another in Barangay San Isidro of Davao del Norte were raided from Saturday to Sunday.
In Barangay Madaum, three drug pushers, a drug den maintainer, and 22 suspected drug users were arrested, while 46 alleged drug users were arrested Barangay San Isidro.
Shabu weighing more or less than 35 grams with an estimated value of P535,000 were also seized in the operations along with assorted paraphernalia and the buy-bust money used.
The arrested suspects will face charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Illegal Drugs), Section 6 (Maintenance of Drug Den), Section 7 (Visitors of a Drug Den), Section 11, (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) and Section 15 (Use of Dangerous Drugs), of Article II, R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /muf
