SUV-riding gunman kills drug suspect

DIGOS CITY – Most drug suspects were usually killed by men on motorcycles riding in tandem, In this incident time a 46-year-old man was shot by someone aboard a sport utility vehicle.

Arnold Enangkile Dayaday, a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Leling in Hagonoy town, was doing minor repairs to his motorcycle about 5 p.m. on Thursday when he was shot by an assailant.

He was rushed to the nearest hospital in Digos City where an attending physician declared him dead on arrival.

Police said neighbors saw a gun burst coming from a gray Toyota Innova with no plate number parked near the crime scene.

Hagonoy police investigators are still on the process of determining if those inside the gray SUV were responsible for shooting Dayaday.

No progress report has been released as yet to the identities of the killers and the motive behind the killing.

But Chief Insp. Grace de Castro said Dayaday was second on the list of most wanted drug personalities in Davao del Sur. /atm
