Sept. 16 to 23: Am-Among Festival
The 10 villages of Bontoc town in Mountain Province gather to showcase the local culture and agriculture products.
This year’s theme is “Sustaining Bontoc Culture and Community Harmony.” Among the festivties are a folk dance competition, beauty pageant, civic parade and street dancing.
Sept. 16 to 18: 66th Araw ng Bansalan
The municipality of Bansalan in Davao del Sur province celebrates the town’s founding anniversary with the theme, “Peace and Development with Empowered Stakeholders as Partners.”

The founding anniversary of Los Baños, Laguna province, is celebrated in the town’s weeklong festival.
The abundance of hot springs, which the town is known for, are also highlighted in the festival, the name of which came from the Spanish word “bañamos” meaning “we bathe.”
Activities include a civic parade, musical concerts, dance competition, battle of the bands, pageant and tourism and trade fair.
